People should be expected to have a livable wage saved up by the time they're at retirement age.
Not my responsibility to pay for Gertrude's meals now that she's 80 and can't afford it, when 50 years ago she decided to live a free bird life of drugs and sex.
Having said that, I don't mind a small portion of taxes going to help older people that fall into extraordinary situations.
