Eric Clapton was asked once "What does it feel like to be considered the best guitarist in the world?" His answer was "You need to ask Prince."
5 down votes? I think it's hysterical that there's a large segment of white rock and rollers who absolutely cringe at the thought of Prince being given much more than a seconds thought in regards to how talented he truly was on guitar. I mean, it's like they say to themselves....there's no way a guy who made pop/rock/R&B can even be mentioned in the same the breath with Clapton, Beck, Hendrix, King, Van Halen.

So you’re saying people that say Prince wasn’t a great guitarist are racist... but use Jimi Hendrix as an example of someone who “white rock and rollers” find great instead of Prince because they’re racist?
