MLB has a fantastic streaming service. Actual attendance may be down, but revenues are at a record high. Thats why I think MLB should expand more in smaller southern markets. AL and LA, as a state, could make a MLB a ton of profit by the amount of streaming eyeballs. TN and the Carolinas too.

There's absolutely no way MLB could be remotely successful in Alabama, Louisiana or SC and have my dobuts about NC...I could see Nashville as a good place
for one of Florida teams to relocate.MLB is not the NFL
in regards to TV,revenue sharing and salary caps.You have to have either an owner with unbelievably deep pockets who's willing to lose millions or other forms of revenue with TV/radio deals and or a great stadium deals IF you want to be somewhat competitive.

MLB expansion has pretty much been a disaster in Florida and I don't think it would fare much better in other places in the south.
