re: Long straight drive, or crisp iron approach shot?

For my game I’d take the driver. I actually strike all of my irons exceptionally well. My driver can be so bad at times I leave it in the bag and hit 4i off the tee. I’m a bogey golfer but on good driver days I can shoot low half of 80s. It’s by far the worst part of my game

This would have been my answer, but I spent so much time fixing the driver my irons went to shite

eta: Long straight driver for me. All good scores start with an approach from the short stuff.

Everything about this says you don’t strike your irons “exceptionally well”
