What will be interesting is if this much maligned coach does start winning hardware and bringing it home to LSU; rebuilds the wall around LA talent; continues to plunder talent from TX, GA, AL, FL, and MS; brings in that big JUCO talent and also the big transfers like Burrow.

The anti-CEO narrative will be in shambles. And those who perpetuate it here and around would be in disgrace.

It would be ironic, no?

What's the timetable on this? Last time I checked we were in year two, with OC number 2, counting on a QB without a single day of practice with the OC and with no returning starting skill players.

He went 9-4 against the easiest schedule in memory. He now faces the strongest schedule an LSU team has faced since at least 2011 if not earlier, with all of the handicaps listed above.

Again, what's the timetable? From where I stand there is no upward trajectory. We needed stability at OC last year to help build a strong system for this year. He knew that when he hired Canada.

No, not ironic at all. Orgeron doubters have a lot of evidence go support their position of doubting him. Others have hope. If hope wins out and the man turns it around, then there will be no more reason to doubt him. It's a called logic. Some fans have it, other see the world through their team colored glasses. Neither approach is right or wrong, just different.

That would be interesting, but all that is right now is a fantasy. He needs to make it reality. He gets no credit or respect unless and until that happens.

Hope springs eternal I guess. I wouldn't put any money down on this happening.
