The NCAA has done quite a bit to limit the other options for players to make money. I think it is funny to argue that especially for football players (the cash cows for Universities) there are other real options to continue their career.

What's funny is those arguing everything is just fine do not realize we're operating under rules that were made something like 90 years ago.

And now the landscape of college athletics could not possibly be more different than they were then, but some think the rules should be the same.

There is no logic to that, none.

Look, I agree with yall they should be able to make money off of their likeness

But being a student athlete at LSU, and then hearing yall say they are denied "basic human rights", is something I will never agree with and it is utterly ridiculous to describe it as such

They are given a free education, free food, free housing, free clothes, free healthcare

THey simply arent allowed to make money off of their name/brand if they chose, repeat, if they chose to accept the scholarship

To call that "being denied your basic human rights" is so out of left field is crazy to me
