That's what I was saying yesterday.

That's why he was NEVER a slam dunk HOFer...

Because people vote, it's not just numbers.

Slam dunk means numbers, career love and goodwill.

And the people who vote look at the totality of the career...on and off the field.

I've read enough of HOF voters opinions on T.O. and they actually really hold it against him that he was a cancer in the lockeroom.

Hell Dr. Z said he would never allow Ken Stabler into the HOF as long as he was alive...because Stabler was mean to his colleagues...or played a prank on some reporter.

Dr. Z had to suffer a stroke for Ken Stabler to be elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

T.O.'s election was probably the most begrudingly election ever for a player based on what you can read what voters have said about him and most isn't flattering. And not just attitude but how he was so divisive in locker rooms and divided clubs and made them worse.

But yeah, he could catch a pass. A lot could in the 2000's.

It is one thing to hold against T.O. that his personality made the teams he was on worse. That is part of his value as a player. Holding it against him that he won't go to the HoF induction? Crazy.

Are you seriously trying to act like almost 16K receiving yards (2nd all time) and 153 TDs (3rd all time) is nothing?
