This should actually be the biggest part of the story. That stupid frick didn't have insurance and was let go without a ticket. What if he would have gotten in a wreck where he was at fault.. right after he left the scene? That should piss people off more than anything.

I could be wrong, but I thought LA cops were required to impound the vehicle if one is pulled over without insurance.

That stupid frick should have been ripped from his car, arrested, and had his vehicle impounded.

Diving uninsured and not having proof of insurance are two different things. Kinda like not having your driver's license with you.
