I know, you are thinking that company will not stay in business for the long term with this kind of thinking. That may be the case but CEOs these days are not looking at long term viability. They are looking at getting their money now and denying claims gets them money now.
Honestly, I am not crazy about either method. I am just really averse to the idea of someone making more profit by killing me.
Do you think the government won't deny claims because they don't have the budget to pay them? The government is driven by its economic interests as well.
