This could transform into an argument about overall cost of medical services which isn't really relevant, but why should it matter to the donor's family what the medical treatment costs on the other end of the transplant?

He was saying how expensive it is. I was explaining why.

It shouldn't matter....the donor's family isn't charged for ANY of the costs associated with everything that goes into organ donation/transplantation.
