I’m impressed with the stat. Let’s hope we beat Northwestern St. first.

Too bad these Regionals are not best of seven.

I heard Oregon State’s team rode mopeds at their coach’s house. Better get on that.

Stalking? No, douchebag, your insufferable and incorrect whining has been a shitstain on the board all fricking day. Then you come in here trying to compare a seven game series from 1960 to a College Baseball Regional.
You’re a fricking retard who clogs up the board with nonsense.

No matter how many games are required to eleimnate an opponnet it aint over til its over. The Yankees couldn't bring all those runs into the games they lost to the Pirates.

refer to be positive no matter what ultimately occurs

You have not proven any thing i posted was not correct. I have destroyed every one of your assertions.

Know how I know I am winning? You resort to ad hominem attacks over and over.

WINNING! IT NEVER GETS OLD.

By the way the next year the 1961 Yankees crushed the Cincinnatti Reds in 5 games in the World Series. Just sayin.

You have not proven anything you asserted is true.
If it was, it wouldn’t have been going on for the past 18 years, openly.

By the way, College Baseball is double elimination. Absolutely no comparison to a 7 game World Series.
Every time you post you just embarrass yourself more. Absolutely amazing.

Nothing was in the open until they ran out of gas and the players thought it would be cute to post it on Twitter.

Still comparable, LSU got waxed within one game of elimination just as the Pirates did. The Yankees were unable to get the clinching win. Oregon State is now in that position. Anything is possible, thats why they play the game.

My suggestion to you is when you are already in the hole quit digging.

Are Roberto Clemente or Bill Mazeroski or Dick Stuart playing for the Tigers?

Why not just go with the LSU-Oregon State CWS matchups last year?

First game was a 13-1 beatdown, and LSU had to beat Florida State, then beat Oregon State twice.

Your example is really dumb considering there is a better example from last year.

Pretty sure this is not true. BoSox were the first team (in any sport) to come back 3-0 to win a 7 game series..they did it in ‘03 vs Yankees

Yeah, OP didn't exactly say it was 3-0, but the Pirates were actually up 3-2, and won the Series in the Bottom of the 9th in Game 7. It's not like it was the Yanks that couldn't get the clinching win after going up 3-0 or 3-1.

Just looked it up:

G1: Pirates 6, Yanks 4
G2: Yanks 16, Pirates 3
G3: Yanks 10, Pirates 0
G4: Pirates 3, Yanks 2
G5: Pirates 5, Yanks 2
G6: Yanks 12, Pirates 0
G7: Pirates 10, Yanks 9

Again, last year's CWS is a better example than this shite from 58 years ago. It's not even comparable, other than a few lopsided scores. The Pirates were never on the brink of elimination until the winner-take-all Game 7.

Does it just make your day to say something derogatory to others? The Pirates got crush three times in the 1960 World sEries with similar scores to the LSU defeat last night, yet persevered and came back to win the championship. Its very relevant to the point, just as what you posed is. This does not have to be a competition of who can make the most salient point.

No, it really isn't, but if you have to tell yourself that since you overlooked what happened 12 months ago, I understand.

Whats not true. The Yankees crushed them in three of the games. My point was youhave to just flush the losses regardless of the score and start new every day. The winners cannot carry over runs from their blowout victories.

Well now, it doesn't really matter when the team hangs 12 on you a second time. And look, there aren't 5 more games to turn it around. But the Pirates had 5 more chances? Why don't the Tigers get 5 more? You said they were similar instances.
