This, too. Double Mountain has great pizza and it's relatively inexpensive. pFriem is one of the best breweries in the state, and the view from their patio is great. Full Sail has a great view of the Gorge, as well. Beer is so-so there, though.
Hood River is one of the underrated gems of the PNW. Great little town to walk around in. You can go windsurfing, if you want. Not only does it have great breweries, but their are a lot of wineries in the area and many of them have tasting rooms that you'll see as you walk around the town.
