re: Week long trip in PNW... looking for some recs

I probably overestimated the cost. Everyone's going to be at the beach that weekend, so hotel's are probably cheaper than normal.

If you like music, you'll love hanging out in Portland. Just google it, and you'll see who's playing where and when. I don't know what kind of music you're looking for, but Mississippi Studios on Mississippi Ave and Doug Fir Lounge are a couple of places to check out. McMenamin's Crystal Ballroom has some pretty good acts and it's close to your hotel. There's a ton of stuff I don't know about, too.
