Like Mingo said, consulting is different. But most of the consultants (big 4 and others) I have worked with travel almost exclusively. The hours are what they are but time away from home is just tough to imagine for me.

I think you will be fine presenting yourself, just make sure you ask what you need to in order to feel comfortable in what you are getting yourself into.

Definitely interested in the travel requirements. Idk how that may vary from location to location. This job is in Columbia,SC so not a major national or international market, but major market in SC. Do you have any insight here, as far as the difference in travel based on firm location?
