Tommy John would be a welcome outcome over anything serious in the shoulder.

It should be concerning with all the injuries with the pitchers the last few years. Seems like a few are injured every year. Wonder what's the problem?

Don't beat around the bush. Just come out and say it.

The best treatment is rest, but that's not an option right now. He needs to be doing a lot of stretching and icing his shoulder to calm down symptoms after throwing sessions. Dry needling and massage wouldn't hurt either. This is typically not a serious issue and usually goes away after adequate rest.

Thanks
