I posted this in the other thread on the SECr. But just wanted to make sure California's ridiculousness gets proper play:

Didn't UCLA send their basketball team to China just this past year? (One of the Ball kids got popped for shoplifting, if I recall.) So UCLA will send their students to a country whose government committed the Tienanmen Square atrocity but Mississippi is morally outside the pale??? GTFO with this virtue signalling nonsense.

That makes no sense. LSU didn't go to Oregon because the NCAA couldn't send any California teams there. LSU could have easily been sent to North Carolina or NC State in place of a California team, and would have drawn a more favorable regional. This didn't force LSU to Oregon.

BTW, this whole argument you are making about the NCAA not getting political is utter crap considering the organization got political on this very matter by boycotting North Carolina when they passed anti-transgender bathroom laws. They have already proven they aren't afraid of making news out of shite that has nothing to do with athletics. All this proves, if true, is that the NCAA is run by a bunch of liberals.
