Good post!
The reason I like the way Ralph in Tennessee coaches is because he changes with each situation and does not tie himself down with one set lineup. He uses as many players as he thinks he has to.
Andrews is a plus for the team, an asset, but she is a lot like Elantra Cox, getting on base is her thing, but if she comes up with two outs and a runner on second base, the type of hits she gets is not going to move runners two bases. I think Andrews should start, and lead off, but I don't think it would be risky to pull her in the 5th inning or so and put someone else out there.
I think Weinberger should see a lot more playing time than she has so far. Goff definitely has potential at the plate, and I'd give her time at second base.
LSU has been very fortunate not to have had any serious injuries to their position players. If Serret were to get hurt, or Schulte, we have NOBODY who has played more than 5 innings the entire year at second base other than Schulte, and I don't think anyone has played shortstop in the last three years except for Serret.
It's gonna bite us in the butt one day.
