Dirty. The catcher made a deliberate attempt to vacate the baseline so that Rizzo wouldn't run into him. Then, Rizzo takes a very, very narrow angle towards the plate, swings his legs out of the basepath, and hits the catcher without even completing the slide. Even worse, Rizzo doesn't even slide onto the plate. His body ends up stopping before reaching home and his left foot (the foot he swung out) is two feet away from the plate.
With this information, there are two conclusions: 1) Anthony Rizzo doesn't know how to properly slide, or 2) Anthony Rizzo was intentionally trying to take our Diaz' legs so that he wouldn't be able to make the throw to first base.
I'm going with the latter.
