Operation Double Eagle ..Jan 1966....Chu Lai, worked with rhe 101 st Airborne, a miserable rough day, both weather and Bloody.

Thinking specifically of Nam vets today . How terribly ironic to be born at the best possible time in American history to be young and have some money in your pocket, and then have that awful war dropped in your lap . Those of us with Vietnamese family, especially, thank all of you, and especially those who died.
Also thinking about Captain Art Bonifas, 1966 West Point grad, and 1st Lt Mark Barrett, murdered savagely by the North Koreans in 1976 . May we soon have peace .
