Always had better experiences with Lyft. It seems that most of the cab guys went to Uber. With Lyft it seems that you get normal people who are trying to make a few extra bucks with their free time. I think they pay/treat their drivers better as well. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of crossover between the two but that has been my experience anyway.

Lyft pays a higher rate to drivers in Dallas. Last I talked with drivers using both it was 20% Lyft cut and 25% Uber cut.
I prefer Lyft cars...have had some crappy Ubers in recent years.
