Going solo you won’t have any issue meeting people, it’s easier to find places to sit. Don’t dress like a jack wagon tourist, if you are male pick up an Oktoberfest button down so you somewhat fit in. Most people are very friendly and inviting especially if you won’t be taking up their seating.

2nd largest Octoberfest in the world : Denver , 350,000 people over 2 weekends. going this year. altitude ,beer and weed should be a good high.
