Just go ahead and admit you've never been there.

Where are they going to pull all this elite talent from? South Dakota to the north? Iowa to the East? Kansas to the South? Colorado/Wyoming to the (Extreme) West?

Start roiding up their corn fed boys again like they did in the 90s with the drug testing in place now? Take a bunch of non qualifiers that were permitted until they joined the B12 and suddenly, their dropoff started.

They are nowhere near any sort of big talent base, and have to sell a program that's been practically irrelevant on the national scene for near 2 decades (longer than these kids have been alive) to choose Lincoln over Austin, a winning program in OU near OKC...or California kids away from L.A. or Berkley...seriously...where is the talent going to come from?

Dude, it's ok that you don't follow their recruiting. I wouldn't expect you to.

Nebraska has been poaching playmakers from all over the country since way back when. They still do it now. The 2018 class had like one player from Nebraska.

They've gotten like 2 4* QBs from California in the past couple years and another 4* from somewhere else, can't remember.

They've poached new Orleans players for a very very long time.

They didn't drop off because of non qualifiers. They dropped off because they refused to change and the game passed them by. Sticking with the option offense killed them. To many athletes now, the option doesn't work anymore.

You obviously don’t pay much attention to Nebraska recruiting. Their top returning WR, ranked as the best in the Big Ten, is from New Orleans. They pulled the #-1 ranked QBs out of Cali in back-to-back years, and the true freshman QB who very well might start this year is also from Cali. Ameer Abdullah was from Bama. Plenty of guys from FL. Here’s the recruiting map compared to Iowa
