I drove a tug one time with a barge that was like 150x50 tied to the side. The pilot went on the back deck to take a shite in a bucket, and told me to drive. Hadn't ever done it before, and hadn't even been on a moving boat tied to a barge.

I thought it steered like a regular boat (but front rudder goes in direction, and rear pivots). Turns out I was wrong, and ran that fricking thing into the bank of the Whiskey Bay Pilot Channel. It started spinning the wrong way, so I hammered down, and that just made it get all turned around faster.

The entire time, the pilot was screaming at me from on top of a 5gal bucket while taking a shite
