There are plenty of non-Vet amputees. You only included him being a Vet to be inflammatory, like when people include WHITE cop shots BLACK criminal. It's annoying as hell when the other side does it, so why must you?

It doesn't matter at all. It adds nothing to the story. It's just there to be inflammatory. My cousin is missing both legs from a car accident. Should he be treated differently than a vet with no legs? Hell, I feel worse for my cousin. The vet signed up for a job knowing what might happen.
