Georgia will be good.

I think people are overrating Georgia.

R. Smith, I. Wynn, S. Michel and N. Chubb are gone.
Smith was dominating on defense.

Fromm is good, but if you look at his passing numbers, they are very much like Etling's. Georgia's receivers are good, but not great.

And Kirby is not nearly as good as people think. He absolutely blew 2 games his first year and his stubbornness running Chubb when Sony was gashing Alabama cost them the title.

If Burrow is what everyone thinks, and O and E are actually good coaches, Georgia should be a win.

Completely agree.

They will be good, but this is the kind of game championship teams and coaches find ways to win at home.

I think that’s probably overstating it a bit. The defense will be very good and Fromm is at least battle tested and won’t give the game away even against our great D.

I’ll say this, I’ll be more surprised by a win at Auburn than I will be a win over UGA at home.

I knew this would come up. No, UGA is not overrated.

UGA lost Chubb and Michel, but bring back their 5 star RB that had 770 yards and 4 TDs from scrimmage as a 3rd string. They also have the #3 RB, #6 RB, and another 5 star #1 RB.

Fromm as a true freshman threw 24 TD passes and ran for 3 more in less than 15 games. He was in a pro style offense and honestly looked more capabale than a guy who was a 5th year senior with over 2 years of starting experience. If Etling's stats were extrapolated over 15 games, he'd still only have 21 TDs total. Fromm's backup is a 5 star tied for the best QB out of last year's class and probably one of the best QB recruits in years.

They have two 5 star WRs, a 5 star TE, Calvin Ridley's brother (all starters), and a host of other highly rated WRs and TEs.

The OL is loaded with top talent

The DE and LB position is just oozing with talent and depth. It's Bama level talent.

The secondary will probably be on par with a typical Bama secondary.

UGA has 12 5 stars in their 2 deep, LSU has two (and 4 on the team in total).

Saban took a 6-7 team and went 7-6 his first year, went 12-0 (12-2 final) his second year, and went undefeated winning a championship in his 3rd. Smart took a 10-3 UGA team, went 8-5 with a true freshman QB in his first year, then went 11-1 (13-2 final) in his second year with another true freshman. His team this year will more than likely be a monster. Please don't fall into the stupid trap that many do when Bama loses a bunch of players. Kirby Smart has learned from the best for as many years as Les Miles was our coach.

There are two games I won't believe we win until we actually do win them, and both of those are UGA and Bama

Kirby played for the title in his second year -with a freshmen QB.
