Listen to Swedish hockey players talk. Most speak perfect English. Barely even an accent. They speak better than Americans. Over 90% of the Swedish population is English fluent.
And the Swiss speak all those languages because the Swiss language does not exist. Their English grasp in less. Especially in certain parts near France.

Lived in southern France for 5 months. Can attest that it is has the fewest English speakers in the continent.
