My mom sheltered me a lot growing up. We lived way back in the bayou, just me and her. Can’t blame her for being the way she was after my dad ran off.

I was lucky enough to find work assisting a local college football team with their hydration needs which helped us get by. I guess the years of frustration and pent up aggression just came out one day, and I lost my temper and hit one of the guys on the football team full force. The hit was so violent that the coach ended up asking me to join the team.

My mom hated the idea. She fought tooth and nail for me not to play, and unfortunately I had to play behind her back. She ended up hospitalized for some issues but got over that. She’s my biggest fan today though
