nothing is stopping a school like Curtis from just saying no thanks to competing in it and just play in their class or schools like Uhigh that can compete with anyone in the country yet just chill in lower classes.

Do you really trust the LHSAA to properly put teams where they should be? They can't even enforce their own bylaws consistently most of the time.
