They already exclude thousands of media outlets from White House press credentials. There is no right for a specific media outlet to get a credential.
If he canceled one outlet, and gives that pass to an outlet that did not have access, then there is no net change in media coverage.
He should cancel CNN and give it to some small town newspaper.
Yep, that would be GREAT for democracy.

There is nothing that requires there to even be a White House Press corp, or to allow ANY access, or to have ANY press conferences, or to even HAVE a press secretary.
So, nothing involving that absent arresting members of the press or censoring them has anything to do with the constitution or democracy.

I’m not concerned with the questions that are being asked—though they are often ridiculous—but I am bothered by some of the reporters’ difficultly in reporting the truth.
