What bothers me is that I don't see much improvement for next seasons squad.
Next year's team will be much improved both offensively and in pitching.
Freshmen will become sophomores, injured players will be healthy and the incoming recruiting class is loaded.

I sure hope you are correct Russian.
I understand that top 10 baseball programs have down years. Skip had a few too. We are in the moment of a season but after the season is done , fans will renew their spirit for 2019.
LSU has finished number 1 or 2 for seven seasons since 1991. Six titles. I think fans feel entitled for more and feel low esteem when the team is struggling. A part of them is a part of me mentality.
Hopefully, this years adversity will build toughness for the next couple of seasons.
