Separation of power: an act of vesting the legislative, executive, and judicial powers of government in separate bodies.

Just a friendly fyi: FBI is NOT a co-equal branch of government,nor is DOJ; they BOTH fall under the executive branch.
Your post really speaks to one of the core reasons we find ourselves with such a swamp in D.C.: rogue agencies who think they are separate and co-equal branches of government on par with executive, judicial, and legislative branches. They believe they are above the law, and thus above oversight. We'll see about that.
