I just flew across the county to interview for a job on my own dime. It’s a teaching job, so that definitely affects how I perceive them not offering to provide funds for my travel.
I did have a non profit based in Los Angeles offer me an interview but wanted me to fly there. I said no thanks.

I would consider this for a legitimate nonprofit, if I believed in their mission. I would never consider such an offer from a for-profit business.
