re: Out of state job interview

I have been on 3 out of state interviews over the years. All 3 paid my flights and reimbursed me for cab fare. One company paid for me twice. I got both jobs. This last one I had to fly twice to Chicago i hope is my last job.

I have had another company want me to pay my way to go interview. I declined and they surprised. I told them that they didn’t make it thru my interview process.

If it were me, this would be a red flag. Interviewing is a cost and if they are not willing to foot the bill, what does that say about them?
