I'm 10 mins into episode 1, and this is much better than I thought. Series of the summer. 
And just as I suspected it would be, the cheese (and nostalgia) is off the charts! If you haven't watched this yet, do yourself a favor.

15 minutes in and the dialogue is great. "I don't do Karate anymore."

Wow, the writers really caught the essence of the characters from the 80's.
They are just like you'd imagine these characters would be in their 40's.
It's hard for me to remember how I talked in the 80's and these writers not only wrote it pitch perfect but made it realistic enough to make you believe their older adult versions.
The contrast between their generation of machismo vs the millenials is comedy gold.
