Scruffy, as a millennial and someone who has really looked into this, the media has tarnished the millennial name. When "Millennial" was coined it was meant for the generation that "came of age" around the turn of the century. A group that lived an early life before the internet, and grew up in the technology revolution. It is also know as the Oregon Trail Generation.

The retarded media ran with the term to mean anyone born before the millennial. Which just doesnt make sense. Someone who was born in the 80's is completely different than someone born in 1995.
