re: Longest hike by miles/days youve done

I have done numerous week long hikes. I am planning on doing a 750 mile hike in approximately 45 -50 days sometime in the next few years . My limitation is physical though. The key for me is at about the hour mark, getting off my feet for about five minutes. I have to relieve that constant back compression. Shikoku Henro. Google it. I have a buddy that has agreed to do it with me it’s just a matter of when. I average about 5.5 miles per day now and have done it pretty much since I moved to Colorado in 93. Mostof my vacations have involved long walks/ hikes- it’s what I really enjoy.
