Awww yeh, I did it!

Took yesterday off for an extra day of rest because my body just felt drained.

Got into the gym today feeling quite....so-so.

Warmed up, then threw 225 on for my first set. I put up 225 x 10 for the first time ever (fairly easily, I might add. Had one or two reps left in the tank). Naturally I went from feeling so-so to pretty jacked. Decided I was gonna go for 300, so I drank some water and stretched and rested for like 10 minutes. Grabbed a spotter, put on those last 2.5-ers, cranked up the metal and banged it out. Barely. I mean barely. Pretty sure I would have missed the lift if I put the clips on

I wonder if I can hit 315 before this surgery in a few weeks...

I did 295 the other day pretty easily.

One of the gym coaches was like... 295 or any lift involving 95 should never be done. Always add 5lbs.
