So then miles didn’t squander a bunch of talent? I was told he did Les with more.

And LSU didn’t even use all 25 of its scholarships, so that’s wrong too.

What is that people can't understand? Yes, Miles had a lot of talent. But that doesn't mean that it's everywhere. That doesn't mean that there wasn't a lack of depth at certain positions (most notably the lines). He obviously never recruited QB's either.

And agin, the lack of IQ is showing. O had to allow more scholarship for areas that we had significant gaps in. By doing so, it took away scholarships that you normally have for more high profile players... thus affecting the almighty recruiting rankings that everyone is so hell bent on.

And the reason we didn't sign the full amount, is because O couldn't take a lot of the high profile players he wanted at the end (again, because he had to use more for the lines). This hurt him because there wasn't enough room for players like MG. Then when Surtain pulled his shite, there wasn't enough time to sign anyone else.

My gosh how short the memory of people. We debated for months who would get the last few. And that numbers were tight.

Sooooo, you're describing like 95% of teams out there. There may be a couple with near perfect, quality depth. And those teams are always in the NC hunt.

He ran off a lot of those depth players because, as Space Cowboy put it, they weren't going to play anyway, which is irony if I've ever heard it.
