As the child of someone whose parent had a disability, it pisses me off every time I see it happen. When I was growing up and would take the family car to the store, if I wasn't with my dad I parked in the non-handicapped spots because I respected the spots.

You don't get credit for doing what you are supposed to do. The spot is for the person, not the vehicle.
