Davenport is described as a raw talent by many including SP.
Smith says he has not reached his potential yet since he just started playing full time as a high school junior.
Leonard switched from defensive end to RT after his sophomore year at FSU.
All three guys are very good at their positions already and seem to be smart. I’m thinking if they put in the time with the coaches, all of them have very high ceilings. Seem to be a good fit.

Yeah this draft is definitely about upside, and imo only 1 of the 3 has bust potential.
But Davenport isn't as raw as some make him out to be. He definitely needs work, but Mr. Rick is what a truly raw player looks like.

If you have a good coaching staff, you don't need to take a bunch of Ben Boulwares.

Great moves if Brees was 30.

Well it does look like they will all contribute this year. Leonard hopefully doesn’t need to contribute much, which means the line stays healthy. He might be able to get in on jumbo packages.
I’m saying if they can do all this stuff now, imagine them with NFL level coaching.

Exactly. Front office is definitely lining up for a tank season in 2020

And we actually have that now

Davenport isn’t raw. He needs to develop and improve as much as anyone drafted.

Yeah people saying this irks me more than it should. He can DEFINITELY come in and play right away, but he does need work on his moves and counters. He played well against the run last year, which most people are overlooking. He can be a 3 down player early.

Agree.
He can use some technique polishing, but most picks do.
It’s not like he’s some kid from Nigeria that played soccer all his life and was drafted only for measurables.
