You’ll get shite on here by the salaried engineers and construction managers, but my wife is a teacher and I feel your pain. She works at least 55 hours a week with grading and shite, so the summer off pretty much averages out. She’s got a masters and makes about 43k annually.
They post on TD all day (as do I) and they’ll tell you how lazy you are, but not many here could deal with the stress of being a teacher.

Any teacher that does this, it is a reflection on them. It doesn't take 15 hours a week to "grade papers and shite." Also, sitting in front of the tv watching My 600 Lb Life on TLC while making sure Jimmy Lipper reduced his fraction isn't working.

Perpetual clock punchers who are counting hours make what they deserve IMO.
