re: What’s the best bottle of wine you’ve ever had!

I’ve been fortunate to taste a lot of great wines - I work in the wine industry - but the most memorable wine I’ve had was in 2003. I was a rep for Mondavi and we sold Opus One. Earned a trip to Napa and they treated us to the 1994 vintage while sitting atop the winery at sundown.

I’ve been lucky to take part in many wonderful tastings, including first growth Bordeaux, Napa Cab vertical tastings, Super Tuscan, South American reds but I will never forget that late afternoon at Opus.
