Except that Drew’s age makes the gamble even more of a deal.

This is going “all in” for 18 and 19. If Davenport ends up like Kikaha or one of the other many defensive flops by the FO, we’re in deep shite.

The "going all in phrase is getting gay. This draft pick has nothing to do with "going all in," it's just a guy the Saints liked, they probably would have done the same if we won a SB last year or Brees retired. We had an insane amount of injuries last year on D 2nd half of season, a ton of depth on D with everyone healthy, we would be fine if Davenport doesn't pan out.
