Here’s how I look at it... think of Evan Ingram last year, tyoicallly TEs don’t contribute early....but since he was really only asked to do what he does best, catch passes and not worry about blocking, he excelled.

We really only need Davenport to use his elite athleticism to rush the passer on limited snaps, he does that and we’re an elite D. Pricey? Yeah but how else do you think we were going to improve that glaring weakness between now and September?
