do you think having a winning attitude through positive thinking is a failure of culture process? Is it putting the cart before the horse? Since we have not had a championship winning team since 2007 is it time to give up on a process culture of a positive winning attitude? Would it be a better process culture for the players to have the attitude that we probably won't win shite this year since we have only won the SEC west one time since 2007? Which is the better attitude process culture for the players to have, reality (which in this case would be negativity) or positivity?

Not necessarily. You can maintain an expectation of winning a national title even if you start losing to Troy. The motivation has to change year-to-year, though. The moment you lower expectations and don't push your players as hard as you can is when you slack up and get beat. This goes for any organization whether it be a college team or a fortune 500 company.

Agreed. That's one thing Saban did when he came to LSU, installed a winning culture through attitude and expectations.

Good enough wasn't good enough... if we're going to win
If you don't think we're going to win... leave
If you're going to stay... you are going to work at it
If you work at it... we'll win
