Glad this is being built in Louisiana and not in Texas. Formosa has a big complex in Point Comfort, Tx, near Port Lavaca. They have one of the worst environmental records in the state and are one of, if not THE, most fined company in the state.
They have released benzene, HCL, and spill their plastic pellets in the bay on a regular basis.
They are Asian, and they couldn’t care less about the environment. And they will bring their people over for all their management positions.
Good luck with that...
