quote:yeah, that was me. from 2010-2016 tcu wasn't just better than lsu, they were significantly better in the postseason. but mainieri had a great run last year. probably his best coaching job during his time at lsu. imo, vaulted him back up to the top 5 nationally since '08.

Well Schlossnagle is still one of the best in the business regardless of his record this year just like Mainieri is one of the best in the business regardless of his record this year. A coach's worth isn't defined on a yearly basis, yet the ignorant and less-informed members of the fanbase can't seem to wrap their heads around that.
