Based on what? High School rankings?

I'm not trying to say that JM is a lock to start in September but to just write him off after he outplayed the other 2 QBs in the only game like situation we have seen is dumb.

Go back and read the press conference posted stats after the spring scrimmages leading up to the spring game. JM and Narcisse have been terribly inaccurate in those scrimmages. Orgeron said on the field in the spring game that the QB that can execute will be the one that starts. Brennan is the most accurate throwing the ball. He gives us the greatest chance at completing passes and has the highest upside of any of the three when it comes to throwing it.

I think Narcisse is more physical than JM as a runner and he clearly isn't as bad as a passer as JM was earlier in his career when JM was a redshirt freshman like Narcisse is now.

Happy for JM to have played well Saturday and will be glad our #3 QB on the depth chart is an older and experienced option in the event Brennan or Narcisse go down with an injury.

I can live with that explanation. I still think JM has a chance to win the job but at least you showed the logic to your opinion.

Mcmillian got the most reps in the spring game, and he happened to look the best. I think there is more to the story than stats from closed scrimmages. He will have a good shot at the starting spot.
