Meh, more like he hasn’t been an OC in a decade or so, and he publicly stated that he didn’t want the job.

That combined with the fact that he's not really regarded as a good OC is even more discouraging.

Can someone please explain what it means to “give him a chance”? It’s not like I or any other fan had any say in his hiring, nor can we fire him. I’m simply trying to understand the blind optimism re: Ensminger. He’s wasn’t a good OC 20 years ago and was quoted saying he didn’t want the job. I just can’t fathom it how anyone could be optimistic about the offense in general. I hope they surprise me in a big way
