Well good. Maybe if we quit teaching and talking about slavery, everyone will forget about it and move on with their lives.

Slavery is just a crutch nowadays. Its historical significance to this country pales in importance to other historical subjects...the the founding and the circumstances surrounding the formation of the government we have today...which was so beautifully crafted that it very much led to the end of slavery.

If I had to make a bet, the founding probably gets a tenth or less of the time slavery gets in classrooms
